Indoor Water (Toilet) Conservation Rebate Program

Eligibility Criteria

You may qualify for a rebate of $50 or $100 per toilet (up to 2 toilets per property) depending on program qualifications if you meet the following conditions:

  • Replacing a toilet installed in 1994 or earlier with a flush capacity of 3.5 gallons per flush (gpf) or higher. Manufacturing date can typically be found on the bottom of the tank lid or inside the tank near the waterline.
  • Receive water service directly from Manatee County or the Cities of Anna Maria, Bradenton Beach, and Holmes Beach. Residents in the City of Palmetto, Town of Longboat Key, or Sarasota County are not eligible. Please contact your local utility provider for available programs.

How to Apply for a Toilet Rebate

You can apply for a rebate by using the online form.

All toilets submitted must be available for verification and may be subject to an on-site inspection to confirm installation of a new high-efficiency toilet (HET) using 1.28 gpf or less, replacing a qualifying older toilet.

Important Note:

Do not dispose of your old toilet prior to receiving application approval confirmation from Manatee County Water Conservation.

Please note that electronic submission confirmation does not constitute approval. Disposing of old toilets before approval may result in disqualification from the program.

Once your application is approved, you may arrange for free curbside pickup of the old high-flow toilet, which should be placed curbside on your regular garbage collection day.

This program is made possible through the cooperation of Manatee County and SWFWMD. For additional information, contact water.conservation@mymanatee.org or call (941) 792-8811 ext. 5327.
